Refund Policy

Refund Policy for Selected Courses
(Applicable only to:
(i) Complete Investment Course (Stock Market, Bond Market, Mutual Fund) – Hindi
(ii) Complete Stock Market Course – Hindi)

1. General Scope & Applicability 1.1 This Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs refund requests exclusively for the two courses listed above. No other course, bundle, add-on, or promotional offering—whether currently available or to be introduced—falls under this Policy.
1.2 By enrolling in either of these courses, you (“Learner”) acknowledge and accept all clauses herein, including eligibility criteria, evidentiary requirements, and restrictive provisions.
2. Definitions
  • “Vast Course”: Any competing course that (a) offers a combined total of video lectures, PDF documents, and PPT presentations strictly greater than the combined total offered by the Purchased Course, and (b) is priced strictly below the Purchase Price of the Purchased Course.
  • “Purchased Course”: One of the two courses (Investment Course or Stock Market Course) for which the Learner seeks a refund.
  • “Purchase Price”: The net amount actually paid by Learner (after discounts, coupons, or promotional credits) for the Purchased Course as recorded in Niveshdemy’s transaction records.
  • “Usage Threshold”: Fifty percent (50%) of total content—measured by counting all video lectures, PDF files, and PPT slides provided in the Purchased Course—beyond which refund eligibility is forfeited if accessed/opened at any time.
  • “Request Period”: A strict window of seven (7) days from the date of successful payment for the Purchased Course, as per Niveshdemy’s timestamp.

3. Eligibility Criteria 3.1 Time Limit: Refund requests must be initiated within the Request Period (Day 1 through Day 7, inclusive). Requests received on Day 8 or later will be automatically denied, irrespective of circumstances.
3.2 Usage Restriction: Learner must not have accessed, viewed, downloaded, or opened any content (video, PDF, PPT) beyond the Usage Threshold. Even a single instance of opening or playing any content that cumulatively exceeds 50% of the total Iterable Content (defined in Section 7) disqualifies the Learner.
3.3 Proof of Alternative (“Vast”) Course: Learner must demonstrate, with verifiable evidence, that within the Request Period they located a “Vast Course”—i.e., one that meets both (a) content quantity strictly exceeding that of the Purchased Course, and (b) price strictly less than the Purchase Price. Proof requirements appear in Section 8.

4. Usage / Access Log Verification 4.1 Upon receiving the Learner’s refund request, Niveshdemy’s system will cross-check access logs:
  • Number of video play events (each play counted per video ID).
  • Number of PDF or PPT file downloads or “view” events (each file counted as the file’s page or slide count).
4.2 If system logs indicate cumulative usage ≥ 50% of Iterable Content, refund is immediately disqualified.
4.3 In case of discrepancy between Learner’s affidavit (see Section 8) and system logs, system logs take precedence.

5. Refund Calculation & Disbursement 5.1 If Learner meets ALL conditions in Sections 3–4 and provides complete proof per Section 8, Niveshdemy will process a refund equal to 100% of the Purchase Price, minus any third-party payment gateway charges (if applicable).
5.2 Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 14–21 business days of approval. Niveshdemy’s refund approval date is the date on which all proof is validated and system checks cleared, not the date of initial email.
5.3 Learner is responsible for any currency-conversion fees, bank charges, or transaction reversals.

6. Disqualification Scenarios (Automatic) 6.1 Request emailed after Day 7 (inclusive).
6.2 System-logged usage ≥ 50% of Iterable Content (e.g., even a single video start counts as 1 unit).
6.3 Any falsification or manipulation of comparative evidence (e.g., editing screenshots to misrepresent price or content counts).
6.4 Failure to meet any one of the proof requirements in Section 8 (e.g., missing signature, incomplete evidence).
6.5 Omission or partial evidence: no follow-up for missing items; incomplete submissions are “as is” rejections.

7. Iterable Content & Usage Threshold Calculation 7.1 Iterable Content: For each Purchased Course, Niveshdemy defines Iterable Content as the sum of:
  • Total number of discrete video lectures (e.g., if 80 videos in the Investment Course, that counts as 80 units).
  • Total number of individual PDF pages (each page counts as 1 unit).
  • Total number of individual PPT slides (each slide counts as 1 unit).
    7.2 Example Iteration (Investment Course):
  • Video Lectures: 80
  • PDF Pages: 300 (assume 6 PDFs totaling 300 pages)
  • PPT Slides: 600 (assume 6 decks of 100 slides each)
  • Iterable Content = 80 + 300 + 600 = 980 units.
7.3 Usage Threshold (50%): 50% of 980 = 490 units. Therefore, if Learner has opened, viewed, or downloaded content equivalent to 490 or more units—regardless of duration—Learner is ineligible for a refund.
    7.4 Rounding & Counting:
  • Fractional units (e.g., halfway scrolled PDF) are rounded down to the nearest whole number.
  • “Opened,” “viewed,” and “downloaded” include any click, play, stream, preview thumbnail load, or scroll into viewport exceeding three seconds.

8. Proof & Evidence Requirements 8.1 Email Submission: Learner must send an email to refund.niveshdemy@gmail.com within the Request Period. The subject line must read exactly:
Refund Request – [Course Name] – [Order ID]
8.2 Proof of Vast Course: The email must include all of the following:
a. Course URL: A clickable link to the Vast Course’s official landing page or catalog listing.
b. Price Evidence: A clear, timestamped screenshot showing the Vast Course’s price is strictly lower than the Purchased Course’s Purchase Price on the same calendar date.
c. Content Inventory: A detailed, verifiable breakdown of the Vast Course’s Iterable Content: number of video lectures, total PDF pages, and total PPT slides—each counted separately. Use publicly visible curriculum tables or official syllabi.
d. Side-by-Side Table: A comparison table listing both the Purchased Course’s Iterable Content (videos + pages + slides) and the Vast Course’s Iterable Content, demonstrating that the Vast Course total is strictly greater.
e. Affidavit (PDF): Learner’s signed declaration affirming they have not accessed, viewed, downloaded, or opened more than 50% of the Purchased Course’s Iterable Content at any point. The affidavit must include:

• Learner Name
• Date of Submission
• Statement of Usage (“I, [Name], hereby affirm…”)
• Signature (handwritten or digital) and Date 8.3 Third-Party Platform Requirements: If the Vast Course is on a third-party platform, public disclosure of content counts (e.g., curriculum page) is mandatory. Private or invite-only programs without transparent content listings are not acceptable.
8.4 Currency Conversion: If the Vast Course is priced in a different currency, Learner must provide an authoritative exchange-rate reference (e.g., RBI’s daily rate on that purchase date) showing price parity comparison.
8.5 No Partial Credit: Failure to provide any single item in Section 8.2 (a–e) results in automatic denial. Niveshdemy will not follow up for missing evidence.

9. Additional Notes & Complexities 9.1 Bundled Purchases: If Learner purchased a bundle containing one of the named courses plus additional modules, only the Iterable Content of the relevant Purchased Course counts toward the Usage Threshold. Niveshdemy’s system will prorate accordingly.
9.2 Overlapping Content: If the Vast Course shares any identical content (videos, PDFs, PPTs) with the Purchased Course (e.g., co-branded or licensed videos), those overlapping units are disqualified from counting toward the “greater content” requirement. Learner must demonstrate strictly non-duplicative content.
9.3 Inflation & Discounts: If Learner used a discount code or promotional credit for the Purchased Course, the net discounted Purchase Price is the benchmark for price comparison. The Vast Course’s price must be strictly less than this discounted amount.
9.4 Third-Party Payment Charges: Any payment gateway or bank charges incurred during refund processing are borne by the Learner.
9.5 Finality of Decisions: All disputes over clause interpretation (e.g., what counts as a “video play event”) will be resolved at Niveshdemy’s sole discretion.

10. Governing Jurisdiction & Amendments 10.1 This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be resolved in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with the courts there having exclusive jurisdiction.
10.2 Niveshdemy reserves the right to amend, revise, or update this Policy at any time, without prior notice, by posting a revised version on its website. The date of last revision will appear at the end of this document. Enrolled Learners are bound by the Policy in effect at the time of their enrollment; any substantial changes thereafter will not apply retroactively to existing purchase orders.

Last Revised: June 2, 2025.
